Beginning with uppers constructed of a combination of Premium Timberland® leather and highly abrasion-resistant Ever-Guard™ leather sewn together with heat-resistant thread, this ankle boot offers superior flexibility and durability with a steel shank and electrical hazard protection. Next, we included an internal metatarsal guard made of a breathable, open-cell polyurethane and rubber for impact resistance. Finally, we added a breathable, moisture-wicking lining that’s made of ReBOTL™ material containing at least 50% recycled plastic with an odor control treatment and our heat-, oil-, slip-, and abrasion-resistant, non-marking rubber outsole.

I have been buying Timberland Pro boots forever, These have not let me down! I work in a hvac manufacturing company that requires met guard, I love the look and feel of the internal met guard of these boots! I will admit they are a bit heavy; but you get used to that rather quickly. But the extra weight is worth the comfort and longevity of the wear. So as long as they keep making them like this I will keep buying and wearing them!!!!
