Constructed with a highly abrasion-resistant, waterproof Ever-Guard™ leather upper and waterproof membrane for maximum protection from water intrusion and blood-borne pathogens, this 8″ tall boot offers superior flexibility and durability with a steel shank and comfy contoured footbed to cradle and support your feet for long days on demanding job sites. For hardworking impact, safety, and heat protection, we also added an external, hinged metatarsal guard that even offers protection when squatting, a steel safety toe, electrical hazard protection, heat-resistant thread on the upper and welt, and a heat-, oil-, slip-, and abrasion-resistant, non-marking rubber outsole for rugged traction. The breathable, moisture-wicking lining is made of ReBOTL™ material containing at least 50% recycled plastic and includes an antimicrobial treatment to help keep them smelling fresh.

This safety shoe is very comfortable!! They needed to be broken in; nothing a bandaid in the rough spot didn‘t fix and two weeks of wear. Granted, these shoes aren‘t for running. I normally wear an 11.5 wide but that isn‘t available in this shoe. I decided to risk it and got the 11‘s. When I got them, I noticed that the wide part of my feet are outside of the steeltoe coverage. This let me know that I could break them in. Once broken, they‘re great! I found these after a welding site recommended them as a top 5 shoe. I now recommend them too!
