For hardworking impact, safety, and heat protection, we also added an external, hinged metatarsal guard that even offers protection when squatting, a steel safety toe, electrical hazard protection, a durable steel shank, heat-resistant thread on the upper and welt, and a heat-, oil-, slip-, and abrasion-resistant, non-marking rubber outsole for rugged traction. The breathable, moisture-wicking lining is made of ReBOTL™ material containing at least 50% recycled plastic and includes an antimicrobial treatment for odor control.

I purchased these boots for my husband for work, he works in an aluminum plant and the floor can get hot from the aluminum falling on the ground. We have purchased boots from a different brand and they would wear out within a couple of weeks. The timberlands don‘t. He says that they are comfortable and his feet don‘t get hot and feel the heat from the ground. Definitely will be purchasing again when it‘s time. #sweepstakes
